About the company

Armadeus Systems was created to offer software and hardware solutions with a price/performance ratio adapted to today's constraints.

Our responsiveness and flexibility enable us to tailor our offer quickly depending on your requirements.

We attach particular importance to all technical information being made available to our customers. This is why we develop the majority of our software programs under Open Source licences.

The Armadeus Systems team is made up of software and electronics engineers with several years of experience in the manufacturing, medical (ultra-sound), and communication industries. Since all members of the team are professionals in the field, our passion for what we do enables us to lead our projects towards success for our customers.

Memberships

	Armadeus systems is member of the freescale alliance. Freescale supplies microprocessors and microcontrollers which are embedded in our products.
	Rhénatic is a network bringing together technology companies in and around Mulhouse.

About Open Source software

Armadeus Systems exists thanks to the spirit of the Open Source software. Currently this principle is a real contributing factor to software innovation and progress. Our customers and we benefit from this principle and to support it, we make the following suggestions:

• Update documentation if they use Open Source software not yet described in the Armadeus Project Wiki
• Respect the GPL or LGPL licences
• Oppose the patenting of software within the European Community in its current state. Even if we are not against the principle of patents protecting inventions, we are firmly against the great majority of "masquerade" patents whose only unstated aim is to use the law to protect powerful business enterprises from the competition of true innovators!

Obviously the applications that you will develop on an Armadeus base remain the property of the author provided they respect the GPL and especially LGPL licences.
